Good morning, L&A!
Sunday brings free family fun to Amherstview and live music to Bath’s market. And in Adolphustown, a former rectory kitchen has become a bookstore just for young readers.
This week also brings the return of lunch at the Napanee Legion, a country bungalow under $600,000 and a reminder to plan ahead for Breakfast on the Farm next Saturday.

🎶 Live music at Bath’s Sunday Market

🍽️ Friday lunch returns at the Napanee Legion

Napanee Legion Branch 137

The lunch is part of Legion Week, running September 20 to 26.
A new Book Nook for young readers
St. Alban’s Centre, Adolphustown
Saturdays and Sundays | 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., through the end of October
There’s a new reason to stop at St. Alban’s: the Book Nook, a used bookstore for children and young adults.
A donation of more than 800 children’s books helped get it started. Volunteers transformed the former rectory kitchen with donated shelves and child-sized furniture, with a separate room for young adult titles.
It’s an extension of the Rectory Book Room, so grown-ups can browse too. Worth keeping in mind when the bedtime bookshelf needs something new.
🏡 HOUSE OF THE WEEK
3284 County Road 14, Stone Mills
$599,900 | 3+1 bed | 2 bath
Room to garden, a covered porch to unwind on and a country setting under $600,000.
This Stone Mills bungalow pairs a large vegetable garden and rear deck with an attached two-car garage. Inside, three main-floor bedrooms include a primary suite with a four-piece ensuite, walk-in closet and its own access to the front porch.
Why it stood out: The combination of outdoor space, main-floor living and room to grow. The partially finished basement offers potential for additional living space, with drywall already completed and a bathroom rough-in in place. Buyers should budget for the remaining finishing work.
