A historic weekend in Adolphustown, a 50th annual car show in Odessa, fresh market finds in downtown Napanee, music by the river, and a local greenhouse stop worth knowing about.
A very solid June stretch in L&A.
Here’s what’s worth knowing this week.
What’s Happening
Loyalist Landing Weekend
Friday, June 12 to Sunday, June 14
10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
UEL Heritage Centre & Park, 54 Park Road, Adolphustown
Loyalist Landing Weekend marks the 242nd anniversary of the Loyalist landing in Adolphustown in 1784.
The weekend includes historical wooden boats, camp life, demonstrations, crafts, cooking, and period vendors. It is a good pick for anyone who likes local history, waterfront settings, or a slower family outing with something a little different.
Admission is $5 for adults. Kids under 16 are free.
Odessa Flea Market, Craft and Car Show
Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14
Odessa Fairgrounds, Odessa
The Upper Canada Region of the Antique & Classic Car Club of Canada is hosting the 50th annual Odessa Flea Market, Craft and Car Show.
Expect classic antique cars, vendors, crafts, and a weekend market feel. The car show and judging take place on Sunday, June 14.
Admission is $5 for ages 13 and up. Children 12 and under are free. Free parking is available at the fairgrounds through the Shane Street entrance.
L&A Chamber Market Saturdays
Saturday, June 13
9:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Old Town Hall Parking Area, Centre Street and Market Square, Downtown Napanee
Market Saturdays continue downtown with local produce when available, baked goods, breads, sweet treats, honey, jams, preserves, home decor, handmade items, and rotating vendors.
This remains one of the easiest Saturday morning stops in Napanee, especially if you are looking for fresh food or locally made goods.
Napanee Music by the River
Sunday, June 14
1:00 PM to 4:00 PM
Conservation Park, 10 Pearl Street, Napanee
Music by the River is back for 2026 with an afternoon of local talent by the water.
This first date is a youth spotlight for musicians age 21 and under, which makes it a nice one to support if you want to see young local performers get a community stage.
Free to attend.
28th BioBlitz at Camden Lake
Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13
Camden Lake Provincial Wildlife Area, Stone Mills
The Kingston Field Naturalists are hosting their 28th BioBlitz at Camden Lake Provincial Wildlife Area.
A BioBlitz is a focused effort to record as many species as possible in a short period of time. This one is a good fit for nature lovers, families with curious kids, and anyone interested in what lives in our local wetlands, fields, and forests.
TuNes Day in the Township
Wednesday, June 17
6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Loyalist Park Amphitheatre, 133 Pratt Drive, Amherstview

Sheila’s Greenhouse

Open daily, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

If your garden still has a few empty spots, Sheila’s Greenhouse is a local stop worth knowing about.
This small, family-run farm greenhouse grows annuals, perennials, veggies, herbs, and hanging baskets right on the farm. It has that relaxed rural greenhouse feel, and it is close enough for a quick trip if you are coming from Yarker, Stone Mills, Napanee, or the Kingston side of L&A.
A good one to keep in mind before the best planting weeks get away from us.
